Calidus Resources Limited are a gold exploration and development company who operates the Warrawoona Gold Project located near Marble Bar in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia.
After a short operational pause, exciting changes are underway as we embrace new management and look to ramp our Warrawoona project back up to full production by March 2025.

About the role
This is a great opportunity to join Australia’s newest gold producer, where you will have the opportunity to lead a highly experienced and knowledgeable team of Trades People.
We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor who will contribute to the optimisation of the performance, availability and safety of fixed plant, dewatering equipment, light vehicles and other ancillary equipment.
This role is a permanent opportunity offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of the process plant, services, light vehicles and other ancillary equipment ensuring productive and quality work outputs
- Supervise critical maintenance tasks and shut downs ensuring the work is completed safely and on time
- Assist, guide and mentor the team as required in conducting maintenance in their respective areas and provide hands on assistance as required
- Liaise closely with the Maintenance Superintendent, Maintenance Planners and process team to prioritise maintenance activities to reduce impact on production
- Liaise closely with maintenance planners and assist in work planning, scheduling and resource allocation with a focus on the weekly maintenance plan
The Person
We are seeking applications from experienced Maintenance personnel who have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of fixed plant maintenance, preferably gold
- 7+ years experience working on processing plants with preventative maintenance programs and systems particularly incorporating mills, crushers, conveyors, gearboxes and pumps
- Minimum 2+ years experience in supervisory roles within a processing plant
- Experience with maintenance planning and work orders utilising software such as Pronto
