Calidus Resources Limited are a gold exploration and development company who operates the Warrawoona Gold Project located near Marble Bar in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia.

After a short operational pause, exciting changes are underway as we embrace new management and look to ramp our Warrawoona project back up to full production by March 2025.

About the role

As we look to ramp back up into production, we are pleased to announce a significant milestone in our company’s journey, transitioning from contractor mining to owner operator mining.  This shift marks an exciting new chapter, driven by our commitment to operational excellence, efficiency and long-term sustainability.

This role is a permanent opportunities, based on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, FIFO from Perth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Allocating, monitoring and controlling the daily activities of mining and ancillary personnel in accordance with budget activities.
• Regularly inspecting workplace for safe and healthy work practices and environment and actively promoting mine safety among the workforce.
• Supervising the operations of excavators, dozers, graders, trucks and watercarts.
• Supervising drilling, blasting and haulage of waste and ore.
• Ensuring grade control procedures are followed.
• Supervising workers in a manner which promotes good personnel management and positive employee relations.
• Liaison with maintenance personal to ensure optimal equipment availability.

About you

We are seeking applications from Open Pit Supervisors who have:

• 5+ years’ operational experience – open pit gold mining is preferred
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
