Calidus Resources Limited are a gold exploration and development company who operates the Warrawoona Gold Project located near Marble Bar in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia.
After a short operational pause, exciting changes are underway as we embrace new management and look to ramp our Warrawoona project back up to full production by March 2025.

About the role
As we look to ramp back up into production, we are pleased to announce a significant milestone in our company’s journey, transitioning from contractor mining to owner operator mining. This shift marks an exciting new chapter, driven by our commitment to operational excellence, efficiency and long-term sustainability.

This role is a permanent opportunities, based on 15 days on, 13 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivery of company and site inductions
- Assisting the Health, Safety & Training Advisors in relation to Training Management
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of operating procedures, standards and training manuals for mining operations
- Develop and deliver competency-based training and assessment for mining teams, including re-assessment and evaluation.
- Conduct routine Training Needs Analyses for all equipment operating roles
- Ensure adequate resources are allocated to meet training requirements across the operations.
- Undertake workplace inspections as required
- Liaise with external training providers as required
- Maintaining accurate training and safety records ensuring compliance has been met.

About you
We are seeking applications experienced Administrators / Operators who have:
- Cert IV Trainer assessor qualification (TAE)
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (desirable)
- Australian driver’s licence (HR licence).
